Metaphor Analysis

The Disguised Duke- the duke in the play was ultimately a good character, and in his disguise he could have been Shakespeare's representation of God.� He watched over the proceedings of the play with an absolute power, and in the end, gave punishment and absolution to those who deserved it.� Unlike Angelo who abused his power, the Duke seemed to be a pure man.�
