Many people have been discussing the topic of weather or not schools should start putting in metal detectors at all of the schools. While half of the people are agreeing that metal detectors should be put into the schools, the other half thinks that metal detectors create a false sense of security for a high amount of money. Expert Dennis Kenny says that "with all of those windows and doors that don't lock all the time, there are multiple ways of bypassing a metal detector. Metal detectors do create a false sense of security about keeping out unwanted objects. While metal detectors might be able to keep out some metal objects, they are unable to keep out the items that are not metal but are illegal.
