Our Proprietor Harry, Kurt, Wade and Doris Knowles
New Year's Eve, 1956...An enterprising young man with a serious dream opened a three-room restaurant in the hills of West Orange. Harry Knowles could not have known then that his dream would culminate in an establishment of which The New York Times has said "it is s close as one can get to perfection" and which Travel/Holiday declares to be "one of the country's must visit locations.
Harry and Doris Knowles, and their sons Wade and Kurt, have taken those three rooms and created a dining environment which captures the timeless essence of elegance and splendor.
As you enter The Manor's gates, you will cross a threshold where the present becomes the past, where Time seems to be resting for a moment.
