Les Celebrites, the signature restaurant of the Essex House/Hotel NIKKO New York is an intimate, 60 seat French restaurant which revels in the unique food of its Executive Chef, Christian Delouvrier. It features contemporary cuisine which artfully combines the best of Mr. Delouvrier's vast experience in France with cooking techniques learned from his travels in the orient. Wine Spectator's March 1995 Dining in America issue selected Les Celebrites as one of the fourteen top dining establishments in the U.S. In the February 1994 issue of the Wine Spectator, Les Celebrites was selected as the best restaurant in New York City, and in both issues Les Celebrites received the highest ratings for ambiance (100), the only 100 rating given to a restaurant in any category.
